CAMPING MUNICIPAL DU MAS

Very nice camp site, large hedged emplacements and well kept. Running water with every emplacement. Toilet blocks are dated. I was lucky: very quiet, no sport events / festivities. Has bread service !! All the shops you need are closeby.

Nice campsite lots of space and friendly and helpful staff. Pretty lake to walk round by the entrance.Unfortunately our stay was completeley ruined by noise. The site is right next to the sports ground and when we arrived a football match was on (Saturday afternoon so expected) there was also a motorbike race track within earshot. After the match there was a two hour training session and then another match with lots of loud announcements which finished at 22h followed by a party. The motorbike racing started again early in the morning .Very convenient for the A75 so I would stop again, but not at the weekend.

Only intended on spending 2 nights but had problem with rv so ended up staying nearly 2 weeks... Great staff great location great stop over or for longer... great restaurant nearby Le Nirvana would highly recommend 👌

First time camping abroad and was delighted with the site. Large, hedged pitches with water and electricity at every cross section for 4 pitches. Sanitary blocks were well cleaned and maintained, staff very friendly and helpful, lovely communal T.V. and games room, small takeaway and shop, play area and mini golf. Yes, you could hear the traffic on the autoroute sometimes but the bonus is it`s an ideal site to use as a stop off point as right next to junctions. Thought we would be made to feel unwelcome as it was just as pandemic restrictions were being lifted and we were the only English on site but couldn`t have been more wrong. We only stayed because my Son lives just a short distance away and it was a last minute decision to go and needed proof of accommodation, it`s cheaper than an hotel should we have decided to stay with him but it was so nice there we decided to camp instead. Lovely lake to walk round with lots of wildlife both there and on site. Pleasant footpath that takes you directly to Issoire train station and centre of town without the busy roads. Would have got all 5 star but sometimes the staff were not at reception as they were busy doing other important things around site, not a problem though.
