Latest reviews for CAMPING CHÂTEAU LA GRANGE FORT
Lovely location with good pitches and an excellent pool area. However, since our last visit the restaurant has gone downhill both in menu and the quality of food. It's particularly hard in France to find a bad creme brulee, they managed it and their chocolate mousse was also poor. I had a burger and the bun was so stale it broke into 3 pieces on first bite.
Great campground with super friendly and helpful staff. It's just the right size to be cozy, the castle and views across the countryside are exceptional. The pool and slides kept the kids busy. Ideal spot if you like smaller and quiet campgrounds. Also, the food at the restaurant is amazing. We will be back for sure. We had a pitch for our tent, so can't speak to the rooms.
Perfect place for families.Beautiful view!Big pool and two very nice water slides .And a very nice staff. The fresh bread is very good. 🥐🥖Make sure to go down the path to the river!
Interesting concept of holiday housing. You may choose between tent ⛺, prefabricated house or even a few rooms within the castle wall. All the community sharing the swimming pool and the fooding areas . Commendable place for staying in harmony with nature as the Allier River is very close.
Me and my daughter visited for a tour and were shocked with the way we were treated by the owners. We speak English and French however when asked more in-depth questions we admitted our first language is Russian. Once the owner found this out he stated he didn’t want any Russians and we were made to feel very discriminated against! We were very unwelcome and embarrassed by the way we were treated. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially from Russia as the owner made it very clear he did not want us there. Really unhappy and sad that at this day and age people are treated like this.
