CAMPING DE LA CHEVRETTE

We have been traveling in France for three weeks now. Today's campsite was a real disappointment: the most expensive campsite so far (two cyclists one night without electricity and one small tent), the price was a little under 20 euros (the most expensive so far was 15.40, usually 9-11 euros); only two of the four sanitary houses were open, the black ones; the car lots were dusty, sandy, there was no grass; the whole area was full of leaves and debris and it seemed that it had not been cleaned for a long time; the pool was not usable, not cleaned; the refrigerator did not freeze. It was impossible to find a price list on the campsite's website, but this place was introduced as the best value for money! The price is very, very high compared to the quality! Do not recommend!

Worst camping of our vacation.Stupid rules at the pool. Old very dirty toilets from the 50's.And you may possibly share your spot with someone who is traveling with a tent. Owners look like nice people,but I will not recommend this place. Wish I could give less star's.

Good shaded site for cyclists or ramblers and not too expensive. €12.50 p/night 2017. Facilities 8:10 and excellent restaurant. Staff very helpful and friendly. Could use some benches or tables for use by cyclists etc and would be good to be able to get a beer or other drink in the daytime. Very close to town though and Community Pool next door. Would stay again.

It's not a 3 star site, much tlc needed wash block outdated and small but clean. 1 block not open. I think the owners may be new (We also visited in 2019) so they need a chance to make improvements. Pitch for cyclist up on river Bank ok. Been to many far better sites. SORRY

Best campsite we’ve stayed at so far. Great location right next to the river, quiet, excellent facilities, friendly and efficient owners and very close to town. Highly recommend it.
