CAMPING DE LA TOUR

Peace and quiet in October. We had to leave as they were closing for the season but would happily have stayed longer. There is access to a lovely shore but swimming beaches are a little further away. Cycling on the lanes is quiet and there are also cycle lanes too. Facilities at the back of the site are modern and the showers hot. Loved it here.

Well run, friendly, clean site with good facilities if a little cramped.We stayed for two nights in July 17’. We stayed here as it was the least ‘holiday camp like’ on the peninsula.The facilities were good; wash block was clean and well maintained with washing machine and tumble dryer as well as hand washing facilities.The sites themselves felt rather cramped with just enough space of a family tent and car on each pitch.Play area was well presented with enough to keep the little ones entertained. The site and surroundings were quiet but some of the other campers still had small children racing around on their bikes at 10:30pm. This isn’t something the site could do anything about but worth mentioning if you’re trying to convince a 2 and 4 year old to sleep at a sensible hour.

Great experience. Nature beach nearby, friendly staff and clean sanitary facilities for a relatively low price. A lot better than others in the region.

Just arrived

I really liked this campsite 2⭐ very quiet, reception 5⭐ (really nice owners, advice on the phone on the pitch/mobilhome that suits us best), pitches with trees and some nicely flowered, small beach a bit wild 2 min walk (swimming suitable for little ones because of shallow depth, fishing on foot at low tide).The mobile home was well laid out, well thought out storage and above all super clean, including its facade and its terrace!The playground is perfect: slide, turnstile and swings, for all ages.From the campsite, many sites to visit in the region. And what's more, a free shuttle in summer allows you to go to the beaches without a car or to reach public transport.I recommend!
