Latest reviews for FLOWER CAMPINGS LE BOIS D'AMOUR
A campsite to avoid, if possible. It’s certainly not worth the extortionate €65 fee.Campsite was sad-looking and pitches had very scruffy grass, despite it being only 12th July.Toilets in the shower block were stinky and dirty. What else would you expect when they’re unisex? Do men running campsites not realise how much male urine reeks compared to women’s and that women’s sense of smell is much more sensitive? Why is it that men are so careless about getting their urine actually INTO the toilet? You either need to have much more frequent cleaning of the shower block or turn it back into single sex spaces. Painting a fly on the rear wall of the toilet bowl will also improve male accuracy. To add insult to injury, the water in the showers was lukewarm at best whilst it was boiling in the washing up section. Let’s not mention the extremely feeble water pressure, but suffice it to say it was barely enough to wash off the soap.
This was a tent pitch, not a room. I would give the pitch 2/5. Reasonably sized with electricity but there were approximately 10 dog or other similar sized animal poos around the pitch when we arrived which we had to throw out of the way with our child's beach spade. It was very sandy, nothing can be done about that and uneven which can be improved. Located near the toilets and far enough away from entertainment so noise wasn't an issue. Site close to beach. Staff did their jobs but were not very welcoming, they were cold and aloof in my opinion. We had just arrived from Flower Camping in Vaux Sur Mer where the staff were lovely, a warm reception and very friendly. Restaurant food was very good. Kids loved the playground and bouncy castle. The pool was big and slides great. I would recommend this site but the sites should be checked pre-arrival by staff as that poo problem is not only disgusting but unhygienic. The weather in Quiberon was poor when we were there which was unfortunate but obviously nothing to do with the site.
We were there with tent. Not the biggest camping place for you, but easily fits 2-3 tents and a car. Location is perfect. 5minutes on foot to the nearest beach. Lots of toilets, lots of showers. Huge swimming pool. Nice water slides. Jumping castle for children. Nice place for family vacation. One minus that the main waitress in camping restoran could speak only french. Highly recomend.
Fully spontaneously we arrived 3 hours after close but staff still helped us and gave us please for tent. Really polite and helpful people. Next to every camp place there is power socket. Bathrooms are clean and large. Prices are low and localization is beautiful. 5 stars for sure!
Nice location for the coast and short walk into town. Some pitches a bit tight for a larger Motorhome and very close together. Restaurant and shop winding down.
