CAMPING DE LA PLAGE

Love this campsite! Slightly smaller pitches than we normally find on French campsites, but that more than made up for by it's brilliant location, right on the beach! A lovely location for a restful holiday - it was a joy to wander down to the water after dinner in the evening! Site and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Great little bakery just a few minutes walk away for the morning baguette!

Perfect campsite, on the beach, hedged in pitches, very clean wash blocks with hair dryers! Nice pool and slides.The campsite staff are friendly and very helpful.The location is perfect as you can walk to La Trinité along the coastal path. In high season there is a free shuttle bus to take you to Carnac Plage and other surrounding areas.The restaurants in the area are good and all have delicious seafood.What’s not to like?!We will definitely be back as there is such a lot to do and see in the area as well as relaxing on this fabulous campsite.

The campsite is very well maintained; clean toilets, good showers, emplacements were of a good size for a coastal location. Access to the beach is perfect. If I had to make couple of negative points one would be the speed of the scooters and bikes used by the children and the other late night noise from some groups of children after 10.30. The other would be the takeaway pizzas, they were OK but nothing remarkable, not really a true pizza base and quite expensive. The bar had excellent cocktails. We've been a few times and the campsite remains one of our favourites.

Can't fault this campsite for location. It's excellent to be so close to the beach. And if the weather's iffy, there's a sheltered, heated pool (though outdoor) with two different slides. Pool could be larger - I wouldn't fancy it in high season - but the slides are great. Campsite itself is very well kept. My only niggle was the small size of the pitches which made parking and maneuvering 'interesting'. But we managed. Great area with lots to see and do, too.

The location of La Plage campsite is fantastic, right next to a gorgeous laid back beach. The water is lovely and calm. Great for children. Great low key bar/ restaurant in beach. There are so many beautiful beaches in the area and lovely harbour just down the road with nice restaurants. Highly recommend. Reason for four stars, is that although the swimming pool and slides are great. It is on the small side and no play area for children.
