CAMPING DE BOURGES

Great site hidden in the town offering sanctuary from the hustle and bustle outside.Clen and tidy throughout although showers could do with a bit of a refurb as they were starting to look a bit tired during our stay - but nothing too bad and I was glad for a warm shower and happy to use.Perfect for our overnight stop!Would use again in the future.

The camp managers are incredible, our campervan broke down when we arrived at the campsite and their help with our dilemma was brilliant, there are two two shower/toilet one was very modern and clean, the other is getting a bit tired but was adequate. The camp site's location was brilliant for exploring the region by bike and walking.

Stayed here for 7 nights in our motorhome to meet with friends who live in The Netherlands. We arrived a few days before them so we could cycle along the Canal du Berry in both directions. Easy cycling. Location excellent for walking into Bourges. The cathedral is a must to visit as is the walk through the old city where the Roman walls used to be. The rest of the city is a bit tired but is being renovated ready for it being the European City of culture in 2028. Auchan and Lidl supermarkets only a mile as is an excellent butchers shop in the Auchan shopping centre.The staff on the campsite are excellent. They work hard keeping the site clean, particularly the toilets. It is a very busy site but they always have a smile. Most evenings there was a food truck.

Stayed in this campsite on our way to the Ardeche, pleasantly surprised, such a nice site, friendly and helpful staff, lovely heated shower block, 20mins walk to the town centre with excellent restaurants and lovely buildings. Booked as a stop off site for 1 night but would return, lovely place, highly recommend it.

Nice campsite. Easy walk to the centre of beautiful Bourges. Great Crepes van and drinks van serving in the evenings.
