Very quiet campsite and friendly people at the reception :)
Lovely, clean campsite with clean ablutions. Really friendly at reception, constantly working to improve the site and very happy to help.We enjoyed two nights here about a month ago whilst cycle touring. They have converted an old mobile home into great facilities for cyclists, there are some tables and chairs, microwave and comfortable seating available. Great for when it was raining during meal times.
A lovely welcome and a good level pitch overlooking the Loire river (pitch number 95!). 30€ for 2 nights in February for two adults, 1 caravan and electricity. Clean toilet block which was lovely and warm.
Amazingly helpful! We arrived after the reception had closed as we had read the opening times wrong. After 90km on the bike we thought it was going to be a cold night in the tent but the manager came down in the dark to let us into the a camping pod. So warm and happy!
Quiet (despite it being quite large) municipal site on the banks of Loire. Not obviously marked on Google maps. Good showers and loos with seats and paper! €15 per night with electric- bargain. Warm welcome on arrival; the sort of site that we enjoy staying at. We loved watching the bird life around the Loire. The swans in particular were awesome.Small shop in village but no obvious boulangerie which is usual present in each small village. Pitch 107 has view of Loire with one tree which gives evening shade. It was very hot in July as picture showsWe cycled to Chambord-took just over 1/2 hour. What a stunning building. You can cycle around the vast grounds and surrounding forest on the estate and don’t pay anything until you go into the chateau itself. You can hire bikes and golf buggies to look around. There is very limited furniture of the period in the chateau but the building is amazin; . Various sections are undergoing restoration. There are marked cycling routes around but as yet Google maps don’t pick these up.
