Great relaxed site where we spent 2 nights, really helpful and friendly staff at reception and a fab little snack bar where you can get burgers and salads. Facilities are great and really clean. Site is right on the Loire and a 15 min bike ride into Blois which was a lovely town. We hired bikes from the site (reasonable price) and biked to chateau de chambord which we really enjoyed. You can pre order bread/crossiants for the next day. We really enjoyed our few days here - thank you 😊
i loved this place ❤️ the toilets and showers were scrubbed multiple times a day 👌short easy bike ride into town 🚲
Great cosy clean family oriented campsite. We arrived just after closing at 19:00, but fortunately we could still check in. Also got the chance to order morning breakfast (choice out of baguette, croissant, chocolate bread).Shower facility in the middle was very nice and clean. Temperature of the water was nice and warm. Did not ran cold halfway.Campsite is dark at night, no lighting around the facility toilet/shower site.WiFi only at the reception.Really enjoyed the stay!
Pleasant enough campground with reasonably sized pitches, and nice staff. It's great that access to the municipal swimming pool next door is included in the price. One criticism would be that the washroom block/sanitaire is not cleaned often or well enough. I even saw the cleaner using the filthy towel that was used at the entry to the toilet/showers to wipe down the sinks outside (which are used for washing dishes!). So yes, they could do with improving the frequency and quality of cleaning.Otherwise, a good place!
Simply a great campsite for cyclists and probably for longer too. We had one night in our tents in the cyclists area which was quiet and comfortable, with picnic benches for eating and chilling, water nearby and clean, well-maintained facilities. The regularly-reviewed burgers are indeed great, though expensive when you factor in frites and a drink for a family of four: upwards of 60€.Our second night was in a Tente Canada as treat and to enable us to canoe the following day, which was well-appointed, clean and comfortable, although without washing-up equipment (including dish soap and sponge) and without bedding. In addition the zip on our tent was broken, which necessitated 20 minutes of faffing in order to close it before bed - an inconvenience but one which ought to be sorted out.All in all, a very efficient, clean and friendly campsite. Highly recommended.
