CAMPING MUNICIPAL LES PÂTURES

This was a lovely campsite and the woman who ran it was so friendly and full of helpful tips and information. The showers and toilets were very clean and the pitch, though next to someone and opposite someone else, felt private. In the morning there was a place to get exceptional coffee, bread and pastries. The evening that we were there, we went to see some live music in a nearby field with a bar and a crêpe van The band stopped around 10/10.30pm so there was no noise after that. Other campers were thoughtful of each other and friendly and it was very peaceful. We had a wonderful time here!

Be aware that the camping is now full if you have not reserved! Camping is listed as open.Even if you need to stay for 1 night.The only question while not even having set foot at the reception was if we had a reservation. We did not.Efficient, probably. But, it's not the nicest way...She pointed us to another campsite not very far (hence why I still give a few service points).This is a first in all our years of camping.

Great campsite, super nice people, very clean, highly recommended. Great path along the canal to cycle to Orleans.

A nice campsite in a good location, Orleans is a short 7 mile cycle ride away. The facilities were clean.I was disappointed though that the tennis courts advertised on the camps website were not available for reservation. It would appear that they are local tennis club courts that can not be booked by the campsite - although the campsite website does say that they can. We chose the site for that reason so hence the reduction in stars

Quality place to camp, very clean, nice walks along the river, borrowed a bike from the campsite cycled into Orleans. Lady comes round in the morning with fresh bread, lovely couple of days spent here.
