CAMPING DOMAINE LES BOIS DU BARDELET

Not a 5 star in my book. The location is nice, and we had a good size pitch. We hired bikes and visited some interesting places. The bar is the main letdown, long waits for drinks, and the young girl serving was a little rude. We stayed for three nights.

Stayed 5 days on this green, in the middle of nowhere, camping. Great to tune off, and enjoy nature, and silence.We had our own caravan/tent, and stayed on pitch number 1. Very large pitch, with lots of trees, bushes, very secluded, would recommend.Gien is nice, and definitely eat at l'Antre Amis, went there twice.Overall, nice to relax, and swimming pool is very refreshing. Also nice to have free mini golf, table tennis, ...

Very odd people in charge, who really should not be in any form of face to face service. Particularly not in the holiday industry. There must be a real local dearth of nice people for them to have to employ this awful bunch. Might I add it was last summer my visit so maybe management have seen the light and dismissed this aggressive and nasty lot.

DISAPPOINTED. 2 Families booked 2 weeks holiday and asked for adjacent pitches but despite weeks of advance notice were placed either side of the site road and 2 pitches down from each other. Cold water in the showers and often queuing. 1 mens toilet permanently closed. Nearest hot water for dishes a long walk away. Service in the bar in a word - chaos. Waiters on the tables were very good as was the pool albeit being a little small. We did have fresh water on the pitch and a drain.No E.V charging available.30 years ago this site would have been good but the whole operation needs bringing up to today's standard.

An enjoyable10 nights at the site, the staff helped find the right pitch for us on arrival. (stayed mid July 2022).The restaurant had a good choice even with a food allergy to cater for, breakfast was additionally good and a treat.The site was clean, the pool was busy at times especially during warm weather. Some of the surfacing around the pool was harsh on your bare feet. The spa was enjoyable and well presented.Occassionally, in the late afternoon the showers were cold.Excellent location to explore the Loire Valley and it's chateaux.Thanks to the site team for an enjoyable stay.
