Latest reviews for CAMPING LE JARDIN DE SULLY
Mobile home was lovely, very new and modern (it costs 93€ for a night so you'd expect it) but that's where the positive points end.Our home wasn't ready when we arrived even though we arrived an hour after the permitted check in time.Once inside we saw glassware and pots were dirty.Snack bar is only open for 1h30, so essentially no food on site.Very small park, one mini slide and no swings or other things for young kids to play on.The neighbours camper van is literally 1 meter away from us, we feel packed in like sardines. No blinds on the bedroom windows so putting children to bed in summer is impossible.I'm writing this after driving all day so take that into consideration ;)
Nice camping by the river on a very good location. Walking distance to an amazing castle. There’s plenty of open space and parks for kids. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a nice open bar with terrace close to the swimming pool. The bathrooms are open space and lack a bit of privacy but they’re in great shape and have everything you need
Lovely campsite with great facilities cleaned twice a day. Some indoor facilities as well as outdoor. Nesting sparrows provide great entertainment. Lovely pitches arranged in cul de sac of 6 placements with some shade. Nice pool. Not cold at all but the weather was very warm when we were there. Short walk over a long footbridges in to Sully sur Loire. About 15mins walk. Great bars & restaurants in Sully & pretty Chateau. We camped & then had an invasion of red ants. Reception were really helpful. Offered us insecticide ifwe wanted to use it but I am allergic. Also offered us a change of pitch with a choice of two. Really great site. Would highly recommend.
Location to bus service in to Orleans. Loved the pitches on the river side which we managed to secure. With duck and swans coming to visit and red squirrels. Bar on site and a pizza van on certain days. Facilities spotless. The host take absolute pride in their business. I recommend and would return. Wifi only in bar area.
Booked this site as a stopover heading south and not many sites open for caravans. We arrived at 1:30 and they are closed between 1 and 4pm as a lot of places are in France. However one of their staff stopping us while we were walking towards the river and checked if we needed to check in and kindly opened up for us. We had a choice of pitches because it was quiet and after setting up we took a lovely walk into Sully. A few bars and restaurants open, town has a nice feel and the setting right on the Loire river is perfect. Shower and toilet block small but some are heated which is great in the winter. Overall we were really happy with this place.
