Ok, so we are vacationing during August 2023. We love the place having been here in 2018 too. We like the beach, the pool style, the food area, the park area. But we feel the two halves of the pool need lifeguards. The €20 for EACH beach sunbed is too high! The music at night is too loud for small sleeping kids at the residence. We give it 4-stars.
Not worthed 4 star camping. Facility is outdated and dirty. Bathrooms are broken and dirty during the day. Swimming pool has way too little chairs. Reception is unfriendly, not very customer oriented. No super market at the camping. For what I paid, not worth the price and on top Wi-Fi is not for free.
Good camping - huge and because of this not the coziest. Big swimming pool, nice beach, good restaurant. You can take electrical BBQ and cook on your own. Kitchen is well equipped even with dishwasher, but we have a room for disabled people and some stuff was not very convenient. If you try to go to this place using google maps - most probably you come to wrong entrance - use the entrance closest to the parking near a beach!
Very nice and quiet resort. Our caravan was a new model and everything was clean. Animation is only in French, so unfortunately the kids did not understand anything. Most annoying fact is, that they sell pool entry to external people, so the pool is always very crowed. Even during low- season we often didn't get a free sun chair. Pool guard is rather useless, people run and jump from every direction into the water and some teenagers were fighting in the pool. We had to be extra careful, and watch out, so that our kids did not get hurt. As we chose this resort for it's nice looking pool, this was the biggest disappointment for us there. Despite that, our stay there was nice. If pool entry would only be allowed for guests of the resort, this could be a 5 star rating.
We're just back from a two week holiday at Perla Di Mare. It's our second time there. Generally, a very nice setup, clean, safe for the children. The evening entertainments are great. The beach is nice and on your doorstep. The negative notes are the snack bar and food truck (new feature this year); absolutely no communication between the staff. For example, we waited 45 minutes for our lunch (burgers and pizza) and when we asked for an update, no one seems to know what was going on. The burger finally arrived and we found the wrapping from the cheese inside the burger. Unacceptable at this level. Second negative point is the pool. It can be accessed by external customers meaning you can have a pool that is overcrowded, at capacity and supervised by one lifeguard who starts his shift at lunchtime. This is very unsafe. The other issue is people come early in the morning, drop their towels on the lounger then leave, basically bpoking a nice spot by the pool for the day even though they used it for only an hour or two. The fact that the pool is opened to the public is a deal breaker. We paid £3000 and we sometimes had put our towels on the floor next to someone who's paid €3 for the day using a lounger. Overall, nice place and if those issues were addressed, we would definitely come back.
