CAMPING PARC DU CHÂTEAU

A tough bike ride up hills to the camp, but it's worth it.Reception was wonderful, so warm and friendly.Great pitch with trees and powerpoints for cyclists.Ordered bread for the morning.Great swimming pool.Bar and restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced.I was tired and would have liked to explore the chateaux nearby but too exhausted after a few big days riding.Perfect overnight relax, quiet and friendly.Toilets had seats and paper and showers clean.

Quiet area. Big camping spots with electricity (if you need that). We came with the bicycle and that was no problem. The also have a good restaurant there! Toilets and showers were okay. Also not the cleanest, but acceptable.

An excellently located campsite, where we were given a warm welcome, with tent and camper van pitches both with and without hook up. It's a very pleasant walk down through the large nearby park (with a free mini zoo in it!) into the very interesting city of Epinal. Small swimming pool on site and also a bar and restaurant selling ice creams too. Loved staying here. Only drawback was that the pitch we were on was a bit uneven and with leaf mulch underfoot (not great when it rains!) but nonetheless it was fine for our couple of nights there.

Although we arrived one hour late, because we cycled the whole day, the lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. She arranged a place for us. The restaurant offers a wide selection of drinks and dishes. There is a swimming pool and some fixed wood tables everywhere. The toilets were clean. There is also a washing machine.Finally this camping place is very near to the city. The campers were respectful.I will be happy to visit it again.
