CAMPING FONTENOY

Turned up without booking off season, set up camp, cooked some pasta with water sauce as it was raining so hard, showers made me scream with delight as they were hot 🔥

We stopped here kind of unexpectedly but were glad we found this lovely little campsite! We had a bit of a language barrier with the staff, but they were wonderfully friendly despite that and we managed to communicate what we needed, haha. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but they had cold beer for us to take back to our pitch. The entire campsite is cozy and peaceful, with the silence in the evening being broken by quietly mooing cows in the distance. Showers were warm and clean, even if they were a bit dark and took a while to heat up. The bathroom was a bit stuffy and stinky the following morning and really needed to be aired out, but we enjoyed the night we stayed here!

We are very big fans of this very pleasant little campsite. The staff is very nice. The restaurant's food, although simple, is of exemplary quality and very affordable. The toilets are very clean. Really everything you could expect and even more from a small village campsite.

Very competent staff. A golden boss, who goes out of her way for these customers.With an extra smile and kindness beyond repair.I recommend, family campsite, clean, and where you are welcomed like royalty.
