CAMPING DE VITTEL

Good location in a nice spa town. Town has a lovely park and centre to walk around. The camping sote is generally nice with hedges and paved roadways. Our site was on a slope that we couldnt resolve which made it annoying for sleep. The toilets don't have toilet seats (which we found was common in France) and the shower timer is less about 20s before you have to press it again. A few more hooks in the shower cubicle would be good.

Stayed two nights to break the journey further south. Decent site, friendly reception. Pitch was fine, and we were told we could pick any free ones if we wanted. Washblock clean and in good condition.You can walk into town and to the park/thermal baths which made Vittel famous.We would happily use the site again.

What a terrible service. Our freinds were staying here with their camper. We visited them because we were in the region. Our friend (lady) came down from the small steps of the camper and stepped into a (rabbit?) hole which was hidden under the grass. She broke her upper leg. 2 ambulances came and she was transported to a nearby hosiptal. The whole situation happened during the day so most people will have noticed the situation.Nobody from Seasonova came to help or ask about our friend. Even worse, the next day our friend (husband) had to pay the rent (one day).If this would have happened in the USA, the campsite would have been sued.ReactionI was there. I would think you are responsible for the maintanance of the places where the Campers are parked. There was a deep hole in the ground. Right there. If this is a legal resposibility remains to be seen, but under the circomstances you could have at least shown some courtesy when somebody has a terrible accident on your property.

We were enthousiastic about this camping. Nice lady at the reception, large pits, new clean toiletbuiling. Bread in the morning from 8.30. In 10 minutes you walk to the nice center of Vittel. More quiet and spacious then Port des Vosges.

Nice campground, relatively expensive. Free wifi around reception and free electricity included in price. Nice facilities although clearly just cleaned by pouring chlorine on everything.
