Great location for first night stopover after arriving in Dieppe. Easy to access D-Day Beaches. Pleasant walk along river path to town. Campsite facilities are great - plenty of showers and toilets, clean and well kept. Good sized pitches sectioned off by hedges and trees. Accommodated our T5, awning out plus Quechua tent shelter.
Superbly run campsite. Very large. Amenities are good, clean toilets and showers. And toilet paper- the first camp site to have any this week (out of 5 campsites!)Lovely lady in reception, very helpful.Chinese buffet just down the road :)
Beautiful campsite with shady pitches. Facilities were kept very clean & the location was perfect to walk in to Bayeau to see the Tapestry. Reception were very friendly & happy to accommodate us if we were late arriving as I emailed to let them know. They made arrangements so we could get in & pay next day which I thought was excellent. I would recommend.
This is a very nice campsite. Spacious plots for campers, caravans and tents. Each area is divided by hedges. Parking maybe under trees or in an open area. Facilities for washing up, clothes washing, including washing machine and tumble dryer. There are also cabins to rent.If I had one negative comment it would be that the shower floor areas need a some upgrading. The silicone needs replacing.Nice colourful units and the showers are warm and powerful enough for a good shower.Bayeux town is only a 15 minute walk. It's well worth a visit. Free use of the swimming pool next door and comes well recommended. Indoor and outdoor pool with an area for children. Also noted is a basket ball court and tennis court along the main road from the campsite.Order your baguette from the office the day before. Food vans arrive on site for some evenings. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.
Probably the best camping I’ve stayed at in Normandy, receptionist was extremely friendly and able to speak English, bathrooms were clean. I rented a permanent tent which was more than enough. Good value for money. Short walk to restaurants.
