CAMPING LE ROBINSON

On the plus side it is in a great location, close to beaches, museums etc.On the minus side is the shower block is communal, the only campsite we have ever stayed in that has communal showers and toilets. It is very tired and small with ground in dirt which is not nice. There are no toilet seats on any of the toilets which is a very basic need for everyone, it has been brought up before and nothing has been done about it.We would definitely not stay here again.

Nice campsite. Very friendly, helpful reception. Good sized pitch with easy access to EHU and fresh water. Very clean facilities (toilet and shower block) although a little tired. Good location to explore this historic coastline and easy walk to Omaha Beach and the American War Cemetery.

The staff at Robinson are lovely and very helpful. The cabin we stayed in was clean and fairly spacious. However it is very basic!! No kettle, no toaster, No oven (there is a microwave) but there is a gas hob. If I’m being honest I think we paid a lot of money for what we got but that could be to do with it being Dday week. There were also 2 power cuts which ruined our food in the fridge. Negatives aside we did have a pleasant stay but we didn’t spend a lot of time in the cabin we used it more just to sleep in because that’s all we could really do there. My son did use the swimming pool and he said that was good but you can’t wear shorts in there it’s Speedo type trunks only for boys and men.

stayed here for 3days great location for us 30 min walk to the beach also great if you have bikes toilets and showers clean have seen other reviews saying the toilets not clean but its the people using them not the staff the 2 ladys are very friendly and clean them regularly the swimming pool was great for our granddaughter would stay here again

Lovely campsite and great location. The sanitary block needs some TLC.
