CAMPING SAINT-MICHEL

We used this campsite as a quick stop over for a couple nights (D day beaches and a little unknown place called Saint Michel Mont). All good, no complaints, friendly and clean. The majority of other campers seemed to be doing the same as us 1 or 2 nights (although we could have been the short stay section??)

We booked a camping pitch for a couple of days hoping to visit Mont Saint-Michel for our son's birthday but there is only one bus from the village that leaves at 10am and returns at 6pm.The good thing about the location is that there are a couple of cider shops nearby selling local products which are really tasty and great value for money.The facilities are ok, nothing special, but someone should keep the pool area clean as when we were there, they had used plasters on the floor, rubbish around the chairs and someone had left a soggy toilet roll on the floor which was leaving tissue everywhere. To top it all off I fell down a hole on our pitch and sprained my ankle, I told the girl on reception and all I got was a freezer pack and a tea towel, no apologies were given and I was asked if I had pain killers.It's safe to say that we will not be coming back here and I do not recommend the site either due to the lack of empathy from the only staff member on site!

Nice campsite but someone cut a hole into my tent whilst I was sleeping and took the money out of my wallet and left. I was lucky they didn't steal any more. When speaking to reception 4 other people had reported a similar thing that night. Be careful camping here in a tent. And from reading it is apparently becoming an increasing occurrence for tent campers

Decent site but there's a strange smell around the toilet/shower area which I think was coming from all the rubbish bags that have just been dumped beside the nearby bins. Think I would stay again though overall.

Stayed for two nights in the Prestige Cabin. The cabin was well-appointed with plenty of dishes and cookware, comfortable beds, and a lot of space. The campground animals were a hit with the kids and we enjoyed its close proximity to Mont Saint Michel (less than 5 min to the parking lot). Total cost was less than a normal AirBnB or double hotel rooms and with a lot more amenities! We'll definitely stay in a Seasonova campground again.
