CAMPING SANDAYA MONT SAINT-MICHEL

ProsWe arrived here and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady on reception who spoke English. The accommodation was clean and ready on arrival and the camp site in general is clean and tidy. It is conveniently located to travel to local attractions by car. Can not comment on the communal sanitary facilities as we did not use them. Cons Severely lacking in entertainment for all ages in the evenings. Playground lacking for more than a 10 minute run around. Our accommodation was next to a neighbouring bar which played music and had crowds cheering up to 11pm on a number of nights during our stay. The accommodation also did not have an oven to cook food. The shower without moving the dial would fluctuate between boiling hot and freezing cold constantly. The swimwear has very strict rules. Swim shorts have been accepted at every campsite we have ever stayed at but at this one only tight fitting underwear style shorts are permitted. This was not made clear before arrival and without our car and being able to travel to buy the swimwear would would have had no access to the pool during our stay as swimwear is not sold in the onsite shop. ( So many people asked to leave the pool during our stay with upset children due to this)

This camping has a lot of cottages and small amount of places for campers and caravans. So take care you make a reservation. Also in september as the Mont St Michel area is a very touristic area.Clean showers and toilets. Check the location of the electricity pole on your pitch as for some pitches you need a long cable. This is not a camping where you will meet the family owners with the related camping atmosphere. It is a professionally run camping with a swimming pool, small shop in thd reception desk and a restaurant.

Heartless and UnethicalA Company with No CompassionWe had booked a trip to the Sandaya campsite near Mont Saint Michel, looking forward to a much-needed vacation with the Family.However, life took a cruel turn when my partner was diagnosed with cancer, making it impossible for us to go on our trip. Despite not having cancellation insurance, we hoped that a company catering to families and tourists would show some compassion in such a dire situation.We provided all the necessary official documentation to prove our situation, but Sandaya showed no interest in our plight. Not only did they refuse to offer any form of compensation or a voucher for future use, but they also displayed a complete lack of empathy.Their response was cold, mechanical, and utterly devoid of humanity.In the end, this company took our money without delivering any service in return around 2000 euro.Their callousness during such a difficult time is appalling, and their refusal to even consider our situation speaks volumes about their values—or lack thereof.I strongly urge anyone considering a stay at any Sandaya property to think twice.A company that is so heartless and unethical does not deserve your business. They might take your money, but don’t expect them to care about you as a human being.Avoid at all costs.

We stayed here for one night with our tent.The showers were boiling hot. We went to the reception 4 times to get help or a solution and they didn’t do anything about it, only saying it would be fine later and someone will come to check and nobody did… We paid 45 euros (which is more then every other camping we stayed before) and got horrible service.Also the food is not good. My mussels were not well cooked. A lot of them weren’t even open. The burger wasn’t also very well baked and raw on the inside.They will NEVER see us here again!

It's perfect I personally love the cottages. There you have a bit of walking and have a nice view on the castles and there are some horses
