Nice location, however the site is overcrowded and they only clean the toilets once per week irrespective of how busy it is. There was poo up the walls, my daughter ended up with an ear infection from the swimming pool. Other reviewers must be in a parallel universe, we booked on the strength of them and wished we hadn’t.

Amazing camping ground with incredibly friendly staff! Highly recommended! The whole sanitation area especially the showers were super clean. If you’re on the island, this is definitely the place to be! I’m already planning my next trip. 🇩🇪🧔🏽‍♂️👱🏼‍♂️

The staff here are super friendly, and there was someone who spoke English. They have a little shop selling basics from milk to croissants. The restaurant/cafe has amazing air-conditioning (although it was closed on the Tuesday we were there), and the pool has both an indoor and outdoor section, perfect for little ones who want to stay out of the sun. The outdoor pool is quite busy though so there aren't always enough sunloungers. The campsite is only a short walk to the beach and to the market in Le Bois Plage en Re.

I booked this campsite on the back of the reviews here and I can't believe any of the previous reviewers have actually been here. The pitches are incredibly cramped, there is no separation between the pitches at all. The pitch next to us is marked as being for car parking on the site map but has been given to a family in a tent. There are two motor homes on a piece of grass right by the toilet blockOn the subject of the toilets, they are the most disgusting I have ever seen in France. They are all filthy and in need of updating, I haven't seen anyone cleaning them. There was excrement in one of the showers. I also found it odd that there is a barbecue right outside the toilets!I have a 3m tall motorhome and when we arrived we were escorted to our pitch down a narrow road with tree stumps and low trees everywhere, so much so that other campers had to shout to warn me, it's not a motorhome friendly site!This site is supposed to be a 4 star site and comes with a hefty price tag, it is not worth the money, you should book somewhere else.
