CAMPING LA PERROCHE PLAGE

We had a really nice stay at this lovely campsite and I would definitely go again. We stayed in a Canada Lodge which was spacious. clean and well equiped. The location was perfect, right next to the beach and a bar en route! It was easy and not expensive to rent a bike. I was impressed with the cleaning staff - they even cleaned during the night and all the public areas were very clean. We had a misunderstanding about the final payment and my only criticism is that I never received a breakdown of costs which made it more difficult to verify what we owed. But it got sorted and Patrick was very helpful on the phone, especially as, due to illness, we had to change some of our requirements.En francais: Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce charmant camping et j'y retournerais certainement. Nous avons séjourné dans un Canada Lodge qui était spacieux, propre et bien équipé. L'emplacement était parfait, juste à côté de la plage et d'un bar en route! C'était facile et pas cher de louer un vélo. J'ai été impressionné par le personnel de nettoyage - ils ont même nettoyé pendant la nuit et toutes les parties communes étaient très propres. Nous avons eu un malentendu sur le paiement final et ma seule critique est que je n'ai jamais reçu de ventilation des coûts, ce qui a rendu plus difficile la vérification de ce que nous devions. Mais cela a été réglé et Patrick a été très utile au téléphone, d'autant plus que, pour cause de maladie, nous avons dû changer certaines de nos exigences.

An amazing spot. Idyllic is the only word. Camping under trees to the sound of birds. Quiet and peaceful, just a minute to the beach and with all the basic amenities (evens washer and tumble dryer). I imagine this gem will be full in highe season but coming in early June we had our choice if spots and no neighbours, just birds for company

It's OK overall but the showers are only tepid, not hot. Also the beach is mainly rocky and not good for swimming, you need to go a good kilometre down the road to the swimming beaches. The northern end of the Island is better for nice sandy beaches and surf.

I do not know if I agree with the 3 stars that they have. The sanitaries are clean and there is a great structure for the kids to play. But the managing team was not very pleasant to deal with and tge ibflatable structures for the kids are shutting down too early.

The rudest owner I have ever met. Arrogant and offensive. Tried to check in 5 mins before their 2 hour lunch break was finished was a huge inconvenience for them. Place looked run and down and untidy. Avoid at all costs.
