Latest reviews for CAMPING DE COGNAC
Not too bad, a little tired. Luckily there were very few people there so we could park on a road as the pitches were too wet for our larger motorhome. Nice spot by the river though!
Facilities beautiful modern clean, hot water is hot . Pool just right depth to enjoy and no silly inflatable toys to spoil your swim. Order your baguette etc from the sites restaurant the evening before you need them. You can cycle or walk into the town alongside the river. Although busy time of year, relaxing peaceful site .
Very clean facilities. Order your breakfast or croissant from the snack bar the night before. Electric 6 amps most others I've been on this year did have 10 amps. So be aware and don't over use and all will be well.
This summer I travelled around France with a motor home, going from camping to camping. I tested 6 different campings and this one was the best! Cozy place, all pitches offer some shadows, toilets and showers very clean, walking distance from the town (in a really nice and quite wood), very friendly and helpful staff, plus there is a quite nice restaurant inside! We had planned to spend there only one day, but in the end we were so satisfied that we stayed for two nights.
Site pleasant enough, large pitches, and £16 a night in high season, cheap by english standards but dear by french! But the sinks and showers are filthy, they are in serious need of a deep clean!! Get the cif and bleach out and learn from the municipals!! We washed in our caravan! The town is a 10 min pretty bike ride along the river, plenty of places to eat and a pretty town. A bit expensive but to be expected in a tourist hotspot, and still cheaper than London! Apart from the dirty washrooms the site is pleasant and the accueil very helpful and pleasant.
