CAMPING KOAWA GORGES DU CHAMBON

Lovely campsite run by a very friendly team in a rural spot just north of Dordogne. Don't go if you expect non stop entertainment but if you are happy to kick back by the pool and watch the stars at night this is for you. My family of four loved it. There's also a cool activity company next door

What a fantastic site with wonderful hosts and staff, all were really friendly and helpful. When we arrived we had a problem with our car, which despite having taken out breakdown cover (which was useless) took around 3 weeks for us to sort out the problem. Jiske and Peter (the hosts) were really helpful; they arranged for a member of staff to take us shopping which would have been difficult for us as the shops were a 10 minute drive away, they provided a jack for the car which we repaired ourselves, they could not have been more helpful Anyway back to the site, it is as I said fantastic, the pitches have lots of space and shade and the facilities are spotless. There is a lovely swimming pool and children’s pool with plenty of sun loungers. The area its self is lovely with cycle and walking routes directly from the site. There are children’s play areas too so this site suits families; everything you need is there for you. Thank you Jiske and Peter for all your help, looking forward to staying on your lovely site again in the future.

Nice campsite just looks a little tired overall. Good swimming pool. From September it starts to shut down from October closing so reception and restaurant hours change. Overall a quiet stay. But good.

If you have children this must be a great site. It's huge very busy but still reasonably spacious. The pool was too small for the number of people on the very hot Sunday we stayed. Receptionist was very welcoming. Large courtyard bar and restaurant very appealing, we did not eat but the food looked good. Sanitary ares very well maintained and clean.

In the heart of nature, a really super place for young and old alike. Managed by Jitske and Peter a very experienced and motivated couple.For those who like traditional camping in a tent or wooden characterful chalets to very modern mobile homes with jacuzzi this place has it all. Very good live entertainment each week and a great atmosphere. Good facilities and very well maintained.Leave the stress behind and find your zen again!
