CAMPING LA FORÊT-DE-TESSÉ

I've been going camping for donkeys years, and this is one of the best sites I've ever stayed on. It's the perfect size, not too big, but plenty of space between pitches.Mark (who owns and runs the site) is an outstanding host, and has thought of everything. You get the impression that many of his guests consider him a friend, and come back again and again.The campsite is in a beautiful, quiet location surrounded by nature and is kept in pristine condition for the guests. The kitchen and shower room is spotlessly clean and seems newly fitted out. There is a communal use fridge freezer and full recycling facilities.The fact that this campsite has a swimming pool for the guests to use is a great bonus on hot days. Again, Mark keeps the pool and poolside area in excellent order. If you like sunbathing, he has created a hedged sun-trap around the pool, sheltered from the breeze.This site is a great place for a relaxing holiday and is very good value for money too at the price point.Thanks for a lovely holiday Mark - we'll be back one day!

Great small camping in beautiful rural area. Very clean facilities and a fridge for your food. The owner is very friendly and helpful! The pool was a nice bonus on a sunny day! Warm recommendations. Stayed for two nights.

Excellent small campsite in a charming rural area. The facilities were excellent and always cleaned constantly with modern fittings. I have never had a monsoon head on a campsite before!The area offered plenty of opportunities for days out within half an hour and even more within an hour.Mark the owner was exceptional and charming. Nothing was ever too much and provides excellent service including recommendations and booking. He also offers a bread service from a local bakery.

We had a fantastic stay here and will definitely stay again. Mark is so professional and extremely helpful, he is an absolute star!We met some really lovely people and would highly recommend this site for either a short stopover or longer stay. A beautiful campsite, not overcrowded with pitches, fantastically clean. The bell tents and their kitchen sheds are super. The best part of the site is the owner Mark, so helpful and welcoming. Many of my family have used the site and some friends from Germany and all agree and highly recommend camping & Gites La Forêt De Tessé.
