Awful campsite, would never go there again. The pools were all dirty. The indoor and outdoor had a dirty green scum line. The indoor pool was cloudy - it is NOT recommended to step foot in a dirty pool, EVER! You leave yourself open to all sorts of diseases. So we never even stepped foot in them and certainly didn't let our children go in there. The indoor pool area was very dull and uninviting anyway. When you went in through the entrance there were shoes all over the floor and mud. Then the next part is the toilet and cubicle area. The toilets had toilet paper all over the floor and water. There was no hot water for the showers either, in that area. The main shower and toilet area always ran out of toilet paper every day. They put one single roll in each toilet, which didn't last long as you can imagine in high season. Also the lights were on timer and came on well after dark, so on one instance I had to shower in the near dark.We had booked for 6 nights and wanted to leave after 3, we'd had enough but the lady at reception was rude and told us we should have taken out insurance, so she wouldn't refund us. She also thrust a piece of paper in our face telling us that the pool was clean and then she quickly hid it before we had time to even read it. I can tell you now, that pool was NOT clean! She also said that her staff couldn't be everywhere at once, when we told her about the filthy pool toilets etc.Her lack of civility was certainly noticed. So, as we had paid 30 euros a night, we stayed but only for the lake - that was the only good thing. But 30 euros a night, to not be able to use the pool, was a downright disgrace.
Excellent campsite, massive pitches, we received a great welcome, spotlessly clean facilities, very dog friendly with lots of lovely walks. A great bar and restaurant, reasonably priced with great views. We only had a weekend here but can’t wait to return. An absolutely brilliant site !!!!
Our favourite campsite stay so far this summer. A great location with our pitch less than 5 mins walk to the stunning lake so easy for carrying kayaks and paddle boards there. A big area of water to explore!Friendly staff, great restaurant, activities like equipment rental, water inflatables and mini golf (be warned this course is very difficult!) The beach and swimming area gets very busy at the weekend but this morning I had the lake to myself for a dip! We will be recommending it to our friends and returning for longer next time. Thank you for a lovely stay : )
This is a fine campsite, but not quite what we expected. Our pitch was large, level, private, grassy, shade from one small tree and adjacent water/electricity. The advertising makes much of it's lakeside location, however the site is actually behind a publicly accessed car park and beach. In practice no problem. My wife enjoyed her swim in the clean warm lake, accessed through a gap in our hedge. What was disappointing however was that sitting outside our 'van, you couldn't see the lake. Each pitch is surrounded on 3 sides by a mature 1.5 metre hedge. Plenty of privacy, but no views! What a pity!. Cutting the hedge which overlooks the lake by a metre, would give us the view we had hoped for. All the facilities were fine and the staff pleasant. Bread could be ordered for the morning.
I didn't actually go to the campsite but for a walk around the lake. Which I would recommend. Peaceful and a lovely place to walk your dogs. The man made beach is perfect if you want to relax. Free to park and a lovely place to spend an hour
