Latest reviews for CAMPING PARADIS ALBRET
Living here for the summer and wouldn't change it for the world Amazingly friendly staff who always say hello as they go by. Victor and Cami on the bar are friendly to chat to, and Claud the maintainace man is always happy to help. Everyone I've dealt with at reception has been great, they even let me send the odd parcel here.Very cozy campsite with plenty of shade and large pitches. Dog friendly (they even have a mini shower cubicle for dogs).I work odd shift patterns and there is always hot water for the showers no matter what time of day or night or how busy they are.. Only once have I had to wait (less than a min) for an available cublcle but at peak times in the high season I expected worse. Showers and toilets are cleaned every morning (who are these people in some of the other reviews who expect a toilet attendant on hand 24hrs a day??)The only downside is the funfair across the road can be noisy in July and August If you have an early alarm and are a light sleeper (but not much the campsite can do about that) it's located on the west side of the site so if you get the option turn left when you enter the gates to choose your pitch and you'll be fine.
Fine spot to camp. Walkable distance to supermarkets (10 minutes) and beach (20 minutes). Friendly and very helpful employees, even though very busy. Spots are spaceous and the tree's give you a sense of privacy. Showers and toilets are clean enough for a beach camping (sand + water = bad), but it wouldn't harm cleaning them a bit more often during high season. We'll return if we're in the area!
We checked in and were put on a makeshift pitch near a noisy young group when we are a family and I said we had a long drive ahead of us.the next day, I was the told we will move you if its noisy... not really helpful when reception closes at 6pm and the noise starts gone 10pm! We saw lots of pitches around the site vacant! The showers were dirty and I have never been somewhere that a security guard is needed at night! The tents were all.on top.of each other no space incase of fire etc. I will be asking for a refund in the morning!
The camping is nicely located near the beach and a supermarche, but the host was super rude and not helping. We tried to reserve by phone but the owner didn't want to do the reservation or add us to the area of our group even if they had plenty of space. When we arrived he received us in a horrible way. They only take 3 night or more. If you don’t want to be badly received, take another camping.
A very reasonable price. Nevertheless, the showers were cold at the end of the day. It takes up to 20/25 minutes to walk to the beach. Supermarket is a 10 min walk and the carnival is a 2 min walk.
