Latest reviews for CAMPING LE SAINT MARTIN
We camped and had a pitch that was comfortably big enough for our Campervan and drive away awning. The proximity to the beach was fantastic, ideal location for the pool and beach. The pools were brilliant and clean with plenty enough beds. Would recommend.
Falling standards? We have been coming to this campsite for 3 years now and have loved it, but this is the first year I've felt the standards have started to slip. Things that were broken last year haven't been fixed for this season. Some of the wood on the huts has started to rot, the plants have not been trimmed and there are quite a few toilets out of service. Also, I get that there is a no baggy shorts policy for the pools, but this is often taken to extreme levels with children (told that the braiding on my daughter's shorts looked like a pocket so wasn't allowed).Don't get me wrong, it is a lovely site in a great location, but maybe focus on smartening the place up and fixing broken items rather than worrying about the precise swimwear??
We're always there preseason for surfing. The camp is perfectly located in front of the dune. So a non stressful arrival at the beach is guaranteed. Especially If you take into consideration that the beach is very wide. Optimal for small kids and surfers. The camping places are a bit small. We always choose the large one which fits perfectly for our slackline, boards and bikes.Unfortunately there is no soap after you go to the toilet. If they find a solution to provide one it would be super nice. Also toilets and showers are clean.
Lovely campsite. Friendly and helpful staff. Pitch size was good, we chose our own.The site has everything you need for a relaxing holiday and is situated right next to a dog friendly beach.
Big campground right next to the beautiful beach. Excellent place off season, without crowds yet still alive. Pitches OK if you have wheel chocks, but the ones closest to the dune very sandy and some campers get stuck. Reception however gives honest warning about that. Sanitaries OK and clean. Pools, fitness equipment, etc. on site. Food as well. Fresh bakery in the morning - make sure to order.
