Latest reviews for CAMPING CAMPÉOLE LES TOURTERELLES
Beautiful campground, lots of trees for cover, traditional French camping (speedo mandatory in the pool, bring your own toilet paper, opening hours for store and reception) slight slopes on the pitches but if you know how to set up the tent in the right way it’s no problem. Electricity accessible very close to pitch which is a bonus. We stayed in a tent with no problems.Little walk to the beach but directly accessible through the campground, access to mini golf, ping pong, soccer, basketball, trampolines, bouncy castles, pool, & water slides. All of which were included in the price of the pitch.Staff were very friendly, and accommodating in English.Facilities were accessible and clean, you could set the temperature in the showers to nice and hot.Would recommend!
We are on the way with our Caravan, my girlfriend broke her leg and we parked right next to the Camping side, we asked politely to use their sanitary to wash the wounds und clean the broken leg, because it isn't doible at our van. We went the reception with a wheelchair, instead of helping us and use the shower for max 10min, they told us to use the Showers at the beach! The beach shower? With a broken leg? That is pretty sad on a human level!!! Not helping when people are in a bad situation!!!
It used to be an awesome placeNow it’s full of the so called mobile homesIt’s super expensive (27,5€ a night) and that nice surfer hangout atmosphere is goneBut with a price tag that high why do you even wonder, not even the showers are warmThere are other camping grounds around which are much cheaper and offer the same, and make you feel welcome and not like you can have your spot in the last cornerThe Beachvolleyball hangout spot is now at the entrance and pretty smallThe floodlights go out after 10p. M.But why are the boule pitches lit up longer?Edit:Came back to check if anything has changedAnd thought I might give a try again as the location of the campsite is awesomeYes the pricetag is a bit lower (25€) but the pitches I got to choose from were incredibly smallSo I asked for a different area, which i got told is reserved for bigger RVsCapitalism in a nutshell as they don’t pay moreBut the most fun part is, they refused to let me in because of this 1 star ratingPeople can change their minds if the opportunities are givenWell I won’t change mine
Nice camping, clean and also lots of trees for cover. Direct access to the beach. Surfing. Kids friendly. We came many years here. Reception is friendly sometimes quick, sometimes a bit complicated. Backery takes only cash. In times of corona not really hygienic. The new management team seems to be pretty bad and not customer oriented. Glad they have some good employees. But better search for another more professional and modern managed camping place. As a business consultant I have to say the new owners have no clue about running a business.
We love their mobile homes. Clean and well equipped. Ideal spot for holidays with your dog. They even have 2 dog showers! We went twice and loved it both times. We found it relatively quiet and luckily there are mainly young people and families which are easy going. All relaxed and chilled. Would say not the right place for conservative pensioners. Beach is amazing and if you walk a bit further it is almost empty. For Kids best visit the "Baywatch" beach area to make sure that your kids can swim save and guarded. we go again for sure.
