SUNELIA CAMPING LA SOURCE

We had a great time and struck lucky by getting possibly the accommodation with the best view just above the football court overlooking the lake with the sun from 9am till the tree next door covering the sun around 16:30 during our stay. If you’re there for peace and quite then this location is not for you as lots of children are just below you but that didn’t bother us.The accommodation it’s self is quite small and the sharing room with 2 small single beds would be to small for children above 11 would be really to small and there is a lack of plug sockets so take and extension lead with you for extra sockets.Our stay was mid August and on the evenings it gets very cold so, there is small duvets so would recommend bringing a duvet cover.There seems to be a BBQ at every accommodation.We had a walk to the top of the camp site which is indeed very high and would not recommend booking this if like me not fit and just want to relax.The lake is very nice and can rent a pontoon boat which I thought was reasonably priced.We took our own SUP/paddle boards which was nice and could spend hours on the lake. Our accommodation was 3 minute walk to the area we could get to the water but take water shoes as the rocks are quite sharp in areas. The access to the lake is very deep! If you are 2 meters from shore you will not be able to touch the bottom but on a brighter side to that the lake was surprisingly warm.There is a little rocky beach area 10 minute walk on the peninsula but seems to be filled with locals and there is nothing available to eat or drink so you would need to take your own.I wasn’t impressed by the staff at the restaurant/bar where at times may of been between 10 - 12 would be sat onThe balcony of the bar area smoking and taking up guest spaces for eating or drinking this would eventually subside once it got busier however it the service seemed good and even though their English was not great we managed to communicate well enough.Overall it was a great vacation for just myself and girlfriend and would come back. It was as advertised with lots of friendly wildlife around the accommodation 😊

We are a group of friends travelling by motorcycle and camping. Four nights here in mixed weather with some thunderstorms..Lovely location, very friendly and helpful staff (they offered the use of a mobile home so we could watch the European Championships).The yet again came to our aid during a particularly heavy thunderstorm to give is a mobile home to use rather than our tents - what could be nicer or more helpful?Great amenities, views, nice and clean amenities plus a tidy and clean campsite.

Nice, clean. Great showers and toilets. Nice view. No sand at the lake side. You can rent a boat and go fishing. Don't think I would go again though.

We found this to be a wonderful site in the middle of a fabulous natural zone and right beside the lake. The 'chef de camping' was extremely helpful sorting out a problem with our camper van and our thanks go to him

Small camping in front of a beautiful lake! It offers a lot of recreational activities for kids. Nice staff!
