Domaine Papillon is a small family campsite located 13 km from Figeac. This 3-star campsite is particularly suitable for nature lovers and those who appreciate the gentle way of life. Nestled in a wooded valley of oaks and walnut trees, calm, space, beauty, and well-being are the keywords.
In the heart of Lot, the strategic and privileged location of the campsite offers easy access to all the major must-see sites of Lot and the surrounding areas, such as Rocamadour, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, the Padirac Cave, the Pech Merle Cave, Sarlat, the Dordogne Valley, Cahors, Conques, and Villefranche-de-Rouergue.
In this region of Lot, you can indulge in numerous varied activities: canoeing, climbing, hiking, horse riding, and mountain biking... Moreover, the local cultural richness and the famous cuisine of the Southwest will be the pretext for all pleasures.
Specially designed for your comfort, this 3-hectare campsite offers chalets, canvas lodges, and beautiful pitches very well maintained, accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM).
You will find a large heated swimming pool, a snack bar restaurant, a bread deposit, a playground for children with trampoline, table tennis, basketball, a games room for rainy days, a mini-library, a wellness center. Moreover, themed evenings are organized three times a week in season, a campfire, a mini-farm with its animals, free Wi-Fi throughout the campsite.

We absolutely love this campsite; we were in a motorhome. It is really pretty with great facilities: showers, toilets (with toilet paper and soap!), super swimming pool (not open low season), electricity and water on pitches, free WiFi, laundry room, restaurant (not open low season), bar, games etc. Our experience in October was that it was very tranquil. The new owners are really delightful. It is a quality site, albeit still under the process of some enhancement. This is not an issue and means that it is going to get better and better. It is a trek to get to the toilet/shower block, but a lovely little walk! Be mindful of driving from reception to the pitches as it's currently a long way round. We can't wait to return soon. Great and tranquil place. Houses are spread just far enough to feel like you are alone. Swimming pool is good for a refreshing dip. On the other side of camping there are animals with bells.The cottage is jus about right, almost everything you need is there. Microwave, refrigerator. Dishes you need to do by yourself, what has it's charms 😉

pet friendly bungalows. very clean although off season, super helpful hosts, quick check in. also the place is amazing - kind of wild camping.

Pleasant welcome.If, like us, you are looking for a fairly flat location, without trees to prevent you from receiving TV, there are really few locations.The one we found required us to connect electrically to the toilet and move the vehicle to get water.I imagine that this campsite must be much better for those who rent a mobile home and use the swimming pool and other services offered that we are not looking for.

We have just spent a fantastic Pentecost weekend at the Domaine Papillon campsite. We were there for a cousinade (group of 37 people). Our mobile home was great and very clean. The owners are very welcoming and helpful and above all attentive. The swimming pool is very clean, heated and secure. We also took the reception room so we could enjoy our meals together, it was very well equipped (professional dishwasher, etc.). It really makes you want to come back.
