Latest reviews for CAMPING DE LA BONNETTE
For the sake of transparency, I know the owner but had never actually stayed here until last week. Our stay was lovely with a laid back atmosphere in the campsite that was clearly a place that had regular repeat visitors making it a very friendly site. Bathrooms and washing areas were clean but there was a surprising lack of baby changing/bathing facilities. The actual spaces are large and most are shaded by trees and surrounded on two sides by hedges. There is a child's play area with a trampoline and slide/climbing frame. There is also a swimming pool but we did not make use of it during our rainy stay. The village of Caylus is a few minutes walk away and there are a number of bars and restaurants that are good quality and reasonably priced also.We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back in the near future.
We have stayed five nights with our tent and we’re really happy to have found this campground! The host is very friendly (from the Netherlands - they really know how to camp! Speaks also German) and helpful, the site is extraordinarily clean and tidy, the bathrooms are equipped with warm water and are proper as well, there is a little swimming pool and to play table tennis, badminton etc. They offer a lot (a restaurant included) with regard to the overall size of the site: As it is not a big campground, it is really pleasant and one can enjoy the silence of Caylus. Especially in summer it is comfortable, because there you can find a lot of shadow spots due to the many plants which structure the single grounds. I would definitely recommend it!
I love this place. Small but perfectly formed.
Friendly family run campsite with very generous individual pitches divided by hedges. Within 5-10 mins walking of very picturesque village. Not alot open in village on a Sunday but managed to find a cafe open. The shower block at our end of campsite had Ladies block under construction so it was communal for toilets and showers which wasn't ideal. But not too much of a problem and nice and clean. There was another block which we didn't try. Recommend the 7.5km circular walk shown on France-voyages website- follow yellow markers from the lake by the aire. Beautiful landscape views and cool forests.
We were staying in a mobile home. Even though it was getting old and is in need of some maintenance it is still a very nice place to stay. The camping staff is always friendly, the terrain looks beautiful, and the food that is served in the restaurant is great! 9/10 would go again =)
