CAMPING LES POMMIERS D'AIGUELÈZE

4.5 really - small, friendly site with lots of trees. Bar was welcome after a hot day’s driving and the pool looked lovely. Clean and modern toilet block with private lavabos. Short walk to the little port and restaurants.Only marked down for noisy music in the night which was not the site’s fault, and may have been a one-off.

Stayed 9 nights in my caravan. Peaceful-yes, though road noise during the day if your pitch is by the road, though well shielded with high hedges; welcoming-yes, the managers are extremely helpful, friendly and speak English; facilities-a beautiful pool and adjacent bar; locality-close to the main highway with easy access to Toulouse, Albi and other historic places of interest; would I return? - 100% yes.

Good campsite with big spaces separated with bushes. Plenty of them with shade (so important in the heat!). The swimming pool is small but indispensable. The campsite is very near the port; which is great to go kayaking in the river. We did so with the dogs and it was great. The owners are really friendly and give all required information about local activities, wineries to visit etc. maps included. A come back.

Well organised and very clean. We had the thunderstorm of all thunderstorms where it rained in tropical style. Being in a tent we were happy to see that the ground soaked it up well. The little bar served a half litre of good local red wine for €4 at Happy Hour. Our 4 and 6 year old daughters enjoyed the trampolines and face painting...Would definitely recommend.

We were not expecting too much, and were very pleasantly surprised. Very clean and well laid out. Good pitches separated by hedges. Great communal facilities, nice pool and large trampolines too :)
