Latest reviews for CAMPING PONEY
we stayed 2 nights here. Very pleasant owners, large pitches among the trees and hedges, extremely quiet and tranquil area, we had the best nights sleep here. Situated on top of a mountain overlooking the lake, a little isolated from the canyon but close to Sainte Croix du Verdon. However, the sanitarie block needs to be updated. Secure (locked at night by 2 barriers). Beach is 25 mins by walk. €18/night in September which I think is quite reasonable.
Very nice people
Beatiful place
I have been camping for over 25 years. I have never seen such a dilapidated campsite. The campsite managers are not at all pleasant. We have the impression of being in the army, as far as the swimming pool which is invaded by wasps with a person who is just there to give instructions at the entrance, and above all to watch, fortunately we were able to enjoy of this superb region because I would not have stayed four days, if I would have had to stay in this dilapidated campsite, I would return I hopeone day in this region, but especially not in this campsite, it's a shame, because I think that with effort and maintenance, it would be a pleasant campsite.
Escape campsite (old people's campsite) 0 activities: The campsite is more like a residence for retirees than a vacation spot. The total absence of activities or entertainment means that boredom reigns supreme. The rules are so strict that they stifle any desire to fully enjoy your stay. From 10 p.m., silence is imposed, making any form of conviviality in the evening impossible. The facilities are aging, without any touch of modernity. Young visitors or visitors with families quickly feel out of place and uncomfortable. The slightest noise is monitored, creating an oppressive atmosphere. The campsite is sorely lacking in dynamism and atmosphere. Sports or leisure infrastructures are insufficient. In short, this campsite is a place to avoid if you are looking for a lively and warm stay.
