I had a truly wonderful experience for a 40th birthday party recently. The site is well located in a valley with a beautiful stream and breathtaking views of the mountains. It's also a short car drive away from the picturesque Gourdon village.All the chalets are brand new with large showers and wooden decked porches. The food is of great quality and there is a well stocked bar (the barmen even put on free shots for us!). What struck me the most was how friendly and helpful the staff were; on forgetting to pack my face cream they sent it back to me in UK free of charge.

Pretty little site. You can get as involved as you want, or keep to yourself. there is no pressure to get involved in actives.Bar and restaurant are great. Food is good. All the staff we have encountered have been wonderful too.Very central for getting out and exploring, but a car has made the difference, as not much close by.Only negative is the mosquitos! But that is for the whole region, and is just one of those things - bring anti mozi stuff!

The chalet we had was a bit run down. Floor was broken in the shower.But the location next to the river was great and the staff were friendly. I would return.

A nice site with good facilities but limited places for touring campers. This is mainly a static caravan site. Excellent food in the on site bar, which was open even in the low. Season (early April).
