CAMPING LE JAÏ

The hosts are very welcoming, facilities are ok, could do with a bit of TLC but no problems. Very difficult to use the campsite without a booking as there are security guards stopping everyone entering the community???The beach is warm like a bath and seems safe for children, when the wind is up the kite surfing looks amazing.Not much by way of amenities without moving the van, no bars, fast food convenience stores.Overall a nice find for a couple of nights.

Camoing Le Jai was the best Camping on our roadtrip.It is located directly at the beach. The facilities were clean and the stuff super friendly. They are available 24h a day ans assist you in any sort of problems. Because we stayed in the tent one of the most important criterias was important criteria how soft the ground was. The ground there was covered with grass, which made sleeping comfortable.Although we had to depart at five o' clock in the morning the inn keeper was happy to assist us. Totaly looking forward to stay there again.

The owner waited for me long after dark, saving me from a difficult night. I was biking from the airport and it was my first time thru France, thus became lost many times. I managed to find Le Jai but it was pitch black. The owner was patiently waiting, and thank God bc the campground has a huge fence and walls, so I would have never gotten in. There are hot showers, power outlets, washing machines, and an option for cabins. And of course incredible service. The owner also gave me a cabin at the campsite rate bc it was too dark to pitch a tent. I did not notice pits for campfires, but much of Le Jai is still being constructed so I imagine these will spring up later. There were many RV's with families. Super quiet.

Friendly guy. The camping is calm and basic, but had everything you need.

Great camping clean toilets and warm showers very close to the beach .. The owner even gave me a ride to the airport when the local taxi company tried to rip me off!
