CAMPING LA BAUME LA PALMERAIE

Just arrived and we are having an absolute amazing time loving it so far the swimming pools are a very good size and kids love the slides. They could do with or bar staff at night as the q to get anything was way to long but maybe they where now expecting it to be so busy all in all great experience so far...

All singing, all dancing upmarket campsite, which a mix of mobile homes and large camping pitches. Amazing water complexes with water slides. Shaded areas throughout. Shower blocks are clean,and we haven't had to queue. Staff are lovely, snd everywhere us well maintained.We are here at high season for 3 weeks, and it is busy and hot, but doesn't feel too crowded, and the abundant trees and planting mean the heat is bearable.Great area for exploring Cannes, St Tropez, Antibes etc , but you need a car, although there are busses and trains nearby.

If you are looking for the hospitality of a 1 star campsite then this is the place to be.Mistakes can be made, but it depends on how you deal with them.Are you ready for the funny part, here it comes, buckle up;Arrived at the campsite after driving 1100Km, checked in at reception, arrived at the house, it turned out that there were no sheets and towels available that we had reserved in advance for 4 people (In Februari), mistakes can be made, still no problem.It doesn't matter if the provider or organization made themistake.I went back to reception to report this, but nothing was visible in the system about sheets and towels. I showed them my booking which included the 4-person sheets/towels package.The lady behind the counter changed here tone of voice and said; sir you didn't book any sheets and towels and there is nothing left. It's not our problem. You have to solve the problem yourself.That was the 5 star answer I was waiting for.Went back to the house and called the emergency number of the provider and double checked whether the towels and sheets had been added, which of course was the case.The lady on the phone indicated that she would call reception and arrange towels and sheets.She called me back and said it had been arranged and I could pick them up.When I arrived back at the reception, where everyone responded ignorantly, it turned out that nothing was available again.Again I was treated with a very brutal and arrogant attitude and that it did not matter that we had no sheets for the night because they did not come up with a solution.I called the provider's emergency number at reception and handed my phone to the staff so she could tell her story. The lady on the phone did her best to find a solution with the campsite.The plan was to wash sheets and towels and then drop them off at our house. You could already tell from the attitude of the counter staff that this was not going to happen. Because of all the frustration, I indicated that I wanted it delivered before 00:00.The counter employee literally responded that you don't talk to me like that and when I walked away I was actually laughed at by the staff.We spent the night on and under our bath towels...I'm writing this review so that you know what to expect when things get difficult at the counter. With a normal check-in you won't encounter any problems, but as soon as things go wrong they won't be able to deal with it.I would like to invite them for a hospitality course.Lesson 1:Do not show personal emotions in any situation.Lesson 2:Put yourself in the customer's situationLesson 3:Think in solutionsIf you are thinking, what is he whining about?Read through the reviews from the last month.The reception scores a gold medal.Enjoy your holiday all :-)

Great place but it's left to run on its own!It needs a little bit more organisation. The staff I saw was good but Not enough. doesn't feel safe at the pools. Not enough staff at evening entertainment. The kids entertainment should be every evening. it feels like nothing is happening and kids feel bored at evenings. We had a good time but if they improve the above it would be a fantastic place.

Love this place been back here 5 times, could do with a bit of an upgrade, limited choice on what you can eat it needs more variety, pools are spotless and the main attraction, walk to bus stop is dangerous along side of busy road so could do with a footpath, staff are very good but could do with more especially at bars. Would give it 4 ⭐️
