Latest reviews for CAMPING DOMAINE DU COLOMBIER
Corina and Trevor very nice and helpful people. We are grateful for your help and concern. Five stars for you.Unfortunately, things were a bit worse at the campsite. The service at the reception was nice only at check-in. Then they don't know anything, they can't do anything and you have to deal with it yourself. The shop at the campsite is a bit small, but the prices are very high. You will lose a fortune in a restaurant, and if you don't order something, they will wait until you leave. The lifeguards at the pool were very gloomy and bored. The lifeguard conducting fitness classes did it without emotion, without commitment and probably as a punishment. There is no music by the pool to make your stay more enjoyable. The water is a bit cold and far from heating. One star. What I liked about the campsite was the one-way roads and camping taxis. The service at the main gate was positive, always smiling. Four stars.
Love this place and been coming here for the past 10 years …. The staff are all lovely and even though my French is very limited they always help and guide us in anyway they can . The panoramique restaurant serves amazing food and with lovely views over the pools and a superb sunset every evening . We love the lazy river but do pay premium so we can use the balneotherapie area too if we fancy a quiet snooze in the afternoon!! Cannot wait until next September when we will be back again !! 🙌🙌🙌
+ Friendly staff in general+ Security+ Pool+ Nice views+ Restaurant at the pool is good+ Campsite places provide sufficient shade and have a refrigerator, water & power outlets.- Do not stay here on the campsite if you want a good sleep.- you will stay next to a busy road! & every Wednesday at 4:30 they empty the glass container into an empty truck, everyone will be awake then.- There are shows given until 23:00 by the pool, next to the campsite. (Sometimes they last until 23:30, this was once during our stay)- Do not use the toilet/shower building near the pool, during the day everybody uses it and it smells, use the one near the reception.
This is a review for the camping emplacements. There are only 18 pitches on this site and all of them are next to the main road. Incredibly noisy from 6am until midnight . Also some pitches are overlooked by the pool which has been built up very high. Your view is then about 20ft of concrete. The pool is also very noisy at certain times so no peace on these pitches. There are two sanitary blocks the first is shared by people using the swimming pool, so not ideal and the other is used by children using the play park so toilets are always dirty. There was only Luke warm water for 4 days we had to keep complaining until they finally sorted it.In summary this really isn’t a site for campers, the pitches are a token gesture and you would be much better served by any of the other Yelloh! village campsites. As you would expect the site and services and pool are very well kept. Unfortunately there are no parasols around the lagoon . Shade is provided in parts by sails but obviously can’t guarantee shade depending on the position of the sun. If you don’t have children then the spa pool is exceptional and really a pleasure to use.Staff as you would expect from Yelloh village are very professional.Unfortunately there aren’t many camping reviews and had I known all this info definitely would have gone somewhere else. So hopefully this review will help future campers make an informed choice.
Great campsite. However would be amazing as an all inclusive! If they had parts of it charged, they would still make bar money etc, however it would be very cool to have somewhere free buffet or something similar! You need to remember towels, they do not supply these! They are very expensive in the shop on-site.
