Latest reviews for CAMPING LA PRAIRIE
I have been there with my family for two weeks (12-26 august) and it's been a great experience! We booked there literally for error and Marco (one of the staff members) helped us to cancel our booking even if it's not admitted in the camping policy. We anyways decided to go there because this camping was closer from our location and it turned out to be a great experience! Our mobile home (Kentucky premium) was very comfortable, clean and equipped. The whole staff has been super kind with us even if not everyone talks in english. The swimming pool, in my opinion, is one of the strongest point of the camping: equipped with slides, paths with water currents and small "jacuzzi" areas. the cost of the experience is perfectly proportioned and for these reasons it's a full 5/5! We will come back there for sure!
La Prairie is a small campsite, good for families and everyone is really friendly. However unfortunately my partner and I were not happy with our stay for several reasons. We stayed in a tent and were assigned a pitch that was pretty much next to the motorway and especially at night the noise levels were really bad and occasionally we woke up from a noisy vehicle. But also the entertainment area was right next to us and the entertainment often lasted until 11 or midnight, so it's impossible to get a good sleep early if you're tired from a long day. The toilet block was quite far from our pitch. There were no separate sinks for washing the dishes which meant people had to do their washing up in the same sinks that people used for washing their hands after having gone to the toilet which for hygiene reasons I think is not great. Our camping pitch also had no trees which meant zero protection from the sun which in August was really tough.I suppose the experience could be very different for people who rent a home or come with their own motorhome. But for people staying in tents the anemeties weren't ideal.
MobileHome are really (too much) noisy, you can't even walk inside without waking up all your family/friends.After 11pm (or midnight), you can't park the car inside the camping, and you had to park your car in the street ... be aware that's you need to walk 5-10min to get your car, depend on where you are in the camping !I stayed one night only (4am to 9am), didn't even have time to try pools or anything else, so my opinion isn't the best about this place.
Correct.
Super
