Latest reviews for CAMPING BAGATELLE
Travelling from Australia, our second time camping here in camping car.Amazing location over looking walled city. Camp has well maintained shop, restaurant.Showers are dated but hot water and very clean. Well maintained amenities throughout camp. Great place to stay.
Nice camping nearby the city center. Big spot for our car. All you need for a stay. The sanitary was litle bit old, but was clean and fine. The price was also good. We stayed for 1 night.
We love it. Returned a few times in our MoHo. Facilities are constantly cleaned and pitches are a good size. Cafe on site and a short walk over the bridge into beautiful Avignon.
I so wanted to give Camping Bagatelle 4 stars if only for the location and the friendly staff, both in reception and in the bar/restaurant. But as the site is very dated and tired I've kept my rating to 3.The welcome and checking in was easy, very straight forward and relatively quick as it should be. We were provided with a good plan of the site which clearly showed our pitch. We had electricity which didn't trip out during our stay. The pitch was level but the shrubs and bushes separating each pitch were sparse and not in great condition (my mate is a landscape gardener and he wasn't impressed). There was plenty of shade which was great but the pitch was basically gravel, so was very dusty. The shower block is old and dated, though it was clean. A number of cracked and missing tiles. The water, both in the showers and for washing up was always hot. We didn't use the launderette, but it was available if we needed it.The restaurant and bar is a little dated, having both indoor and terrace dining, as well as space for drinks. It was lovely sitting out late in the evening relaxing and the staff were friendly. The location is great. A 10 minute walk over the bridge takes you to the outskirts of the beautiful walled city, a further 5 minutes and you're almost in the centre. A stunningly beautiful city.So all-in-all a great location for a campsite that could be something else but sadly isn't, at the moment.
The location is nice, near the city, but the camping... For having smalls and low quality bathrooms, is overpriced, at least the bathrooms were cleaned
