CAMPING LA FONTAINE

We spent 3 nights here. Nice pool , clean site, good access to local area. My only complaint was that i was unable to sit around the pool to watch my children unless i was in swimwear also , even though i wasnt swimming, not a big problem as I was able to sit outside of the fence but may be a problem for those with younger children. Our dog was never an issue and welcomed on the site. Although our French is non existent, we were able to communicate our needs with basic language and Google translate. We felt very welcome and the people were very friendly. We had food at the restaurant 1 night which was very nice and the atmosphere was good.Nice size pitch.

Quite, small camping ground with places in the shadow, clean service building, a jumping castle for the kids and a pool. Friendly reception. Ideal for biking tours in the near area. With two smaller kids on their own bikes we felt the lack of biking lanes was a bit too dangerous (to get to the biking trails from the camping ground you need to take a road with speed limit 70km/h)

So this campsite is nice, the sanitary is very clean. There is hot water, a place to wash your clothes (by hand) a pool and a lot more. One big downside is of course that no one speaks English, so come here if you're prepared for a struggle or obviously if you're good at speaking French. That being said, the staff is nice and helpful. Also you can get very unlucky with your spot, we for example didn't have any shade

Great campsite, with very clean WC / showers ans camper facilities (water, gray water, and to empty chemical WC). There's also a pool but we didn't use it. Flat grounds so no need to use levellers and electricity nearby. Nice staff too!

Good spot for a quick stop. Nice big places on an open field.We had the luck that their was a band (les mals de mer) playing music in the evening what was great with a variety of French and Irish music.The must see is the old Town of guerande just a few minutes biking from the camping.
