CAMPING LA RABINE

Gem of a campsite just outside the beautiful town of Machecoul-Saint-Meme. The pitches are large and well maintained, the whole campsite is well maintained. The toilets and showers are great and spotlessly clean. There is also a bar by the entrance, we spent 3 fabulous days there and enjoyed a great 8 mile walk through the countryside on the edge of town by the lake. We also caught the train to Nantes from the station, which is only a 10 minute walk from the site. Great campsite well worth the visit if you are in the area.

Superb campsite. Owners are friendly, pitches are in good shape and flat. Sanitaries are kept clean. They have a small bar area with WiFi. Best of all was the special rate for cyclists. 10 euros for 2 people with 1 tent.

A lovely quiet site a short distance from the town. The toilet block is clean , and the rest of the site is kept tidy. It's still as welcoming as it was 30 years ago when we visited for the first time. At 16€ for a night the site is very reasonably priced.

Very well organised,Anne Marie and Bruno keep the site beautifully clean Always helpful. Excellent value for money. We have been coming here for 30 years and are returning this year.

Stopped here for an evening, sans tent & stove, when a Citroën rally was being held.Despite the site being very busy, the couple running the camp site were friendly, helpful & kind, lending me a spare pop-up tent, for the night, without charge.
