Lovely family run campsite very peaceful, surrounded by nature. Perfect location for cycling. We rented bikes from the campsite and cycled through the quiet countryside on cycle lanes to the Brest à Nantes canal and cycled along the canal to a lovely little Café.We also rented canoes from the campsite, the river Edre is beside the campsite. It's a small campsite with a little pool and sun loungers and snack bar, it is very clean with a modern toilet block and showers. The kids loved the table football.Easy to access from Nantes with the train station. Our tent was spacious, had very comfortable beds and all the essentials for cooking. A brilliant supermarket 6 minute cycle away.. Super U. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay.

This is a beautiful campsite, with lots of trees and different kinds of pitches. The central area is like one big field under the trees, most suitable for tents and small campers, and along the edge of the campsite are places better suited for caravans, although our pitch wasn't very flat.We stayed here for four nights, and it was a pleasant stay. There is a nice swimming pool; not big but big enough. Our 11 year-old enjoyed it a lot. The snack bar at the campsite serves decent pizza's for around €10. Just don't order a rosé wine, or you'll regret it ;)The big shower / toilet / dishwashing area is spacious and clean, the showers have heated floors, but: 1) toilets without seats and toilet paper, 2) lukewarm showers without temperature control. I'd really give a higher rating had the showers been better. My wife didn't have a problem with the showers though, so maybe it's just me.We paid €31 per night, for a caravan and 3 people, which seems about average to me.The surroundings of the camping are quite nice, there are a few nice routes for hiking / cycling in the area. The village of Nort is not the nicest village in France, but it has a nice area at the Erdre river with a (grass) beach and some bars where you can spend an afternoon in the sun. Also recommended: hire an electric boat for a few hours on the Erdre. The city of Nantes is 40 minutes by car.

We only camped here for one night as a stopover. Lovely quiet place on the edge of an active town. The site is in the middle of beautiful mature trees with lots of walks and birds. We saw a red squirrel beside our caravan.

Lovely clean site amongst trees. Short walk to river which is really pretty. The pitch was a fair size. Mixed facilities which were clean. Water pressure for facilities very low. Cons - No toilet paper provided. Soap dispensers empty and hand dryer didn't work.Friendly staff
