Latest reviews for CAMPING L'ESTUAIRE
The camping is a small but yet very nice camping spot next to the loire-bike route. It has everything required for a short and longer stay. The site well situated and can be reached with ease by bike, car and camping-car.For bikers there is a "bikers village" with tools to do a quick fix - this came handy for us as we had one bike with us. It is also possible to rent bikes for a fair price. The bike we rented was in a excellent condition and we did a 70km bike trip along the Loire river to St.Nazaire.On site there are mobile homes but also other offers. We can't judge them as we just had our tent. And the spot was excellent for this. The place we had was very clean and without any stones.Parking the car next to the tent was no problem. The stuff on site was very welcoming since our arrival - as we arrived very late we had to check in at the small bar on site.If you get hungry/thirsty the bar is open untill 11pm.Otherwise there is all you need around.A good bakery is just 500m away and on the evening there is a "boulodrome" next to it to play the traditional french game.We give 5 of 5 Stars and recommend this camping site.
Stopped here for a couple of nights, whilst handy for the local town not much else to do here! Campsite is on the Loire and makes for nice walks.
Great facilities, friendly and accommodating staff.Right beside a nice walk discovering the art installations of Paimboeuf.Bummer was to realise that the estuary view was looking at the industrial estate across the water. But that does not reflect on our experience camping.
Beautiful campside below trees right at the river located in the sweet village of Paimboeuf (amazing bakery at walking distance in the village). It is a perfect destination to start biking the Vélodyssée, the atlantic bike route. The service was great and friendly and made everything possible for a great stay.
Lovely place on the edge of a cute village.Very nice & supporting staff. Excellent pricing, clean, simple sanitary facilities and pitches with a view of the Loire - perfect!
