Latest reviews for CAMPING MUNICIPAL LE MINDIN
Just very few places for camping with tent or caravan, the rest are bungalows (as so often). At the time of visite not really a charming place. Whole entrance and pool area wasn´t cleaned several days, the bar a construction site, the camp site not maintained. However the sanitary block was clean.
Great place for families with children. We are a couple, and did find it a little noisy at times, but the children seemed to be enjoying themselves. Reception staff were very nice and welcoming. Beach is very close. We were allocated a large shady pitch. Big negative: toilets and showers. 2 toilets and 3 showers is inadequate for the number of pitches and lodges. Maybe some of the lodges have their own bathrooms, however as the only 2 toilets on site are situated next to the entertainment area they are used by everyone on the site. Also the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities left much to be desired at times, probably due to heavy usage by guests. Expensive compared to other sites we have visited, with better facilities, at €50 per night. WiFi non existent.
We stayed here for the great access direct to the serpent through a Coded access gate direct to the promenade. The site is built in a wooded glade, the camping standing is mainly sandy loam with leaf and pine neadles, a nice dappled shade. Showers and toilets are unisex stalls. Fir showers use the one on the right as 8f you are in any of the others as soon as that one is used there is no hot water going to the other two as the shrieks will confirm. Power like nany sites can be behind you but equally can be 4 pitches away so be sure to take two power cables. There are a couple of bbq areas you can cook on but honestly in this hot dry weather I'd only use a gas bbq. There is a small pool that has a retractable roof, a kids play area and a bar which sells a few domestic items. I liked it.
Good camping, at the very starting point of the Eurovélo 6. Perfect location if you need to start from here.
The noisiest campsite I have ever been to. Ten kids running around blowing whistles all morning and no one does a thing. Awful.
