Just stayed one night in this lovely small campsite. Pitches are nicely spaced and well maintained. The toilet & shower facilies were the BEST we have experienced on our 2 weeks travelling. Lovely spot, close to the beach and shops. Keep up the good work. We loved it.

Very friendly proprietor - and campers! , we visited on October so were very pleased to find an indoor, heated pool and fully enclosed heated shower block . We had a generous sized pitch . It is an easy stroll to town and the beach and we would be pleased to visit again 👍

We had the pleasure of staying for 10 nights Camping Du Vieux Chatteau. We were received a lovely greeting and were shown to our pitch, which was both spacious and ideally located.The toilet and shower facilities were clean and well kept, as were the wash room and laundry services. The swimming pool was a pleasant environment and well used without being over busy owing to the owners restricting the numbers.The site is very well placed for trips to neighbouring towns like Pornic, Saint Nazaire and Saint-Brevin-les-Pins - all within an easy cycle ride along safe cycle paths.The beach is about a 10 minute stroll from the site and is clean and safe. The village centre of Tharon Plage is a similar 10 to 15 minute stroll and is where you will find a selection of shops, bars and restaurants, together with a tourist information office that are helpful to say the least.A wonderful site, in a lovely location staffed by great people. I recommend the site to people of all ages as I think you will all enjoy the surrounding areas.

A lovely site with good amenities. We met a lot of lovely people. Try to avoid a pitch under trees unless you want to wash the car every day
