We stayed one night at this lovely peaceful campsite by the Loire and were impressed by the peace and quiet, so close to Nantes. Lovely level grassy pitches with hedges between them. Friendly helpful reception. Direct access to riverside walks and cycle paths. Food van in evening - Pie man when we were there!
Lovely typical French campsite close to the Loire river, peaceful, relaxing and quiet, except for the morning chorus of bird songs. The facilities are basic but clean, well maintained and adequate. The caravan pitches are large and there is a good selection of shady and sunny pitches to choose from.Having bicycles is an advantage here because it is not really walking distance to the local shops. There is however a nice promenade along the river Loire which runs alongside the campsite.I can also highly recommend the Jano restaurant for lunch which is located 30 minutes walk away from the campsite, turning right, out of the site, along the Loire promenade
Our second visit. Lovely site with trees and hedges. Friendly staff, you can order breakfast. Food van some nights. Not many bars or restaurants nearby. Great for cyclists, especially bike-packers.
Nice campsite in a lovely area. Although they have food trucks come most nights the Lebanese food is expensive, extremely bland and the rice was cold even though we booked to pick it up at an alloted time. Also be aware there are no restaurants close by and be careful of going to the restaurants the reception has a list of as we drove for 20 minutes to go to one on the list it was clearly shut down and looked like it had been for a very long time.
Booked velo tent that was dry and cosy on a rainy night.Rode into the camp from EV6 so convenient!Reception was welcoming and fantastic. The aperitif was deliciousA great tent for cyclists to relax and google with electric kettle and fridge.Good internet available in our velo tent.Ordered bread for the we next morning.Toilet paper thanks showers clean and strong.Cuban food truck looked good but I didn't try it I had food.
