CAMPING MUNICIPAL DE LA PLAGE DE RIEZ

Loud music almost every night with people screaming into a microphone over the music. Pool area is alright but no way to get a beer by your chair. Cars drive all day and pretty fast in the camping area.Watch out where you walk huge pinecones reach terminal velocity before they hit your head/car!First two days the fridge and freezer wasnt working. We called it in but never got word back. All by a sudden it started working though...

Nice calm and wide campsite; it gives a wide range of accomodations: bungalows, tents, bungalows-tents and a lot of spots for motorhomes and caravans. There're 2 swimming pool (not so fancy, but for kids are nice anyway), 1 for babies and 1 for all the rest the people. There's a little climbing park for kids. It's close to a nice green park, with different paths, a beach, a little village and 10min. far (by bicycle) from a SuperU supermarket.

Had a great time at this campsite. Toilets and showers are a little dated in places but are generally clean and efficient. Shame there are only uni sex toilets (for the ladies). My wife is fussy though and she didn't regret coming here. We had the comfort pitches but actually asked to move to one with just electric as they were better located under the trees.

Stayed here for 10 days, campsite and facilities not too bad, beach was fantastic with Sion a short walk along the beach. A lot of campsites in this area so plenty to choose from. Weather, as always in Vendee was gorgeous for the most part of the two weeks and the sunsets in this area are fantastic

We stayed at this campsite for 5 nights towards the end of September. The facilities were mostly closed, apart from the pool. We felt they were just waiting to close, this was reflected in the receptionist attitude. It is very convenient for the beach, also for visiting our friends in St Giles Cross de Vie.
