Fantastic holiday at a great camping. We had a wonderful time! Found the cleaning requirements at the end to be a bit extreme though. Clean windows??? Next time we will pay the 90 euro fine.
First time in this campsite this year and we booked our two weeks for sol a gogo for next year before we came home. It's a lovely campsite, nice and small and connected to the beach which is such a bonus. The pool is great with an indoor pool option also if it's not the hottest of days! I'd recommend this campsite to anyone with kids up to about 12, I'd say after that they might want to go somewhere a bit busier? Our kids are 6 and 8 and loved it. Perfect base also for all the things to do around the region
Lovely mobile home site right next to the beach with swimming pool and waterslides, bar and little shop. Can get a little noisy in the evenings but otherwise no complaints. Hyper U is a few minutes drive, it's huge!
Been there end of August 2020, during covid year 1 between 02 lockdowns in france, for my first time in a camping with my family (02 adults and a 4 years old child), at that time the camping wasn’t branded “paradis” (unless I'm wrong).I'll split the review into 3 parts :1.Negative points or aspects to be improved:- The cleaning was ok, at least on visible part as we found some old dust, crumbs and other disgusting things under the sofa, between sofa pillows, under the fridge …etc.- There was also some small cockroaches, I guess due to the old crumbs mentioned before and to the old age of the mobil-home itself, to be honest, we didn’t saw a lot of them, only ~5 or 6 for the whole stay but they were there.- not so much animation when we was there but I guess it’s particular to the period (end of holiday season and COVID-19).2.Positive points or aspects that made out stay comfortable :- The booking process was pretty easy and fast, directly via the camping web site.- The camping was perfectly located, right next to the beach at 5 minutes walk (more or less) depending on mobil-home’s location and not far from a little commercial avenue (various restaurants and shops) at 5 minutes by car.- The mobil-home was nice, even if a bit old, 02 rooms for 03 persons, a living room and a covered terrace. It was correctly equipped but I don’t remember if there was a cooling system or not, on the other hand, as it was nearly the end of the month, nights were not warm and we were not home during the day.- The swimming pools were ok without being astonishing, there was a 1st one divided in two parts, one of +/-30cm depth with some kid’s entertainment and a 2nd small one of +/-120cm, and a 2nd one (internal) mid size. There was also 3 or 4 toboggans (don’t remember exactly) with 02 simple straight ending in a small bowl and another loping toboggan ending in the internal swimming pool.3. Conclusion : we had good moments there enjoying the pool and the beach but we won’t come back and we’ll not recommend. For those who will visit this camping despite my review, here are some tips :-Near the beach area is more quite but is far from pools and the main area.-At the end of August, the weather is changing often, my advice would be to go there in July or before mid August.-There are some limited but nice things to do in this region depending on your taste (dino park, bike tour…etc).-Don’t spend more than one week there.
We've stayed here with various companies 3 times now. Its main selling point is that it offers direct access to a great sandy beach and that is unbeatable. The staff in the shop and bar are friendly and generally helpful and the swimming pools have two water slides and a covered flume as well as a small toddler section. The mobile homes are, however, set very close together so if you have a neighbour who likes to stay up late chatting on their deck, it might disturb your sleep. In terms of accommodation providers, carisma offer vans with a/c which are fantastic, although the rest of the van is pretty basic and their service is very pared back. Alfresco offer vans with lovely outdoor areas and offer a much better service level but unfortunately no a/c.
