Latest reviews for CAMPING LA NINGLE
This is a very friendly campsite. I stayed here with my family in July 2016. The campsite is immaculately kept. The shower block and toilets are cleaned twice daily which was very impressive. The owners have a wealth of local knowledge for which I was impressed and found it most useful. We visited the swimming pool most days - Again - this is very kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. My young family very much enjoyed the slides and we were happy for them to swim on their own. There are good themed nights and one could get involved as much or as little as one wished. The beer on tap was Stella and was very good. In the mornings one could pick up bread and pain au chocolate etc etc. the wifi was a bit slow but I didn't really care as I'm on holiday. There were fishing and pétanque competitions - my first time I entered - happy to say that just by entering I got a bottle of wine - nice touch. One could hire tennis rackets and balls for playing on the court.Other attractions were that one could hire bikes locally - we went with the two guys down by the nearest supermarket - for 4 bikes for 24hrs was about €35. The beach is about a ten minute walk and it is massive, there are life guards on duty and the sea appeared to be relatively safe for bathing. There are other supermarkets within driving distance best going to the ones around St Jean Du Monts.Overall we were very happy to have stayed here and will return in 2017.
Great campsite, very well kept, very quiet late at night. Staff are very friendly and approachable, even for those of us with limited French language. Only downside is lack of buzz around the bar in late afternoon/early evening
